CNC Machining
Our Capabilities
At Valkyrie Machining, we currently offer 4 subtypes of CNC Machining: CNC Milling, 5-Axis CNC Machining, CNC Turning, and Precision CNC Machining. Each have their own use-cases depending on the order.
CNC Milling
CNC Milling is a “subtractive” manufacturing method. It uses a cutting tool to remove various materials, such as plastics and metals, while being moved and rotated. This method is best suited for any application that requires precise components and for making molds.
5-Axis CNC Machining
5-Axis CNC machines have a unique ability to machine complex parts, with up to five sides, in a single setup; making it cost-effective in some applications as it increases utilization, reduces setup and cycle times and improves quality.
CNC Turning
CNC turning removes material by contacting a cutter with the high-speed rotating workpiece and is usually used to create round or tubular shapes. The CNC turning process allows the generation of complex external geometries and internal holes, including the machining of various threads.
Precision CNC Machining
If your order needs to achieve tight tolerances, such as ±0.0005″, we have the experience and technology to provide remarkable precision and repeatability, even for the most complex parts. Valkyrie Machining is committed to exceeding your CNC machining expectations.

FAQ
About our CNC Machining
While we strive to offer the most competitive pricing, the answer is highly dependent on many variables, including size, complexity, machining method used, quantity and more. To achieve the most cost-effective CNC machined parts, larger production runs are recommended to spread the cost of machine setup.
We specialize in a comprehensive range of machining services including milling, turning, drilling, threading, tapping, EDM and wire EDM, customized surface finishing, prototype machining, low-volume or single-part production, and modification of existing components.
CNC manufacturing stands for Computer Numerical Control manufacturing. It involves using computer-controlled machines to automate the manufacturing process, resulting in precise and efficient production of complex parts and components.
An impressive range of parts, including detailed and intricate prototypes, shapes and components for just about every industry. Most prominent being aerospace and electronics.
Some parts can be made and delivered within days. We always strive for quick, above standard leads time, however, each project depends on part size, quantity required, and finishing requirements. We’ll offer an estimated completion time, but if your project is urgent, let us know.
